Kuala Lumpur: Part 2

Click here to read Part 1 of this post if you haven't already.

Passing an ornate mosque on our way to the Batu Caves just on the outskirts of the city.
Before visiting the Batu Caves, we also saw a nearby Hindu cave overlooked by this monkey god (possibly Hanuman?).
There were also plenty of real monkeys around.

Entering the cave.

Then it was time to see the more impressive Batu Caves.

As you climb the steps up to the cave you see hundreds of monkeys scurrying around and begging for food.

After the Batu Caves we returned to the city and visited Sunway Pyramid, a huge mall designed in ancient Egyptian style.

Chinese for dinner.
Heading back to our hotel via busy streets.

From Kuala Lumpur, we took a bus north to our next destination: Tanah Rata, a small town in the Cameron Highlands. We'd end up staying there a lot longer than planned, but that is a subject for the next post.
